Museum Lesson: Let's Get to Work! From Skull to Exhibition

• The students learn about the work of a collection manager at the museum. 
• Students learn about the ways in which a collection item can become damaged. 
• Students learn what a storage facility is and get a unique behind-the-scenes look. 
• Students learn how to display an object.  

• Core Objective 7: Students learn to compare and evaluate information and opinions in various texts
• Core Objective 51: Students learn to use simple historical sources, such as those found in our cultural heritage, and to interpret references to time and chronological order. 
• Core Objective 56: Students acquire some knowledge of and develop an appreciation for aspects of cultural heritage. 

Grades 6 through 8

During the school year: Mondays from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Tuesdays through Fridays from 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

120 minutes

75 euros per museum lesson (maximum of one class per museum lesson). Chaperones are admitted free of charge.
